Additional details on Sunday Maybe from another interview:

There’s a version of the album coming out called Sunday Maybe’, says Jody. ‘It’s got five of the tracks remade for listening to on a Sunday – as in just chilled remixes. It’s all finished and it’s our favourite tracks from the album with no house drums. It’s all chilled half beat drums or no drums at all’.

Better than nothing, I enjoyed the beatless Don't Look Now cuts.

As long as they don't all sound as generic as Diamond Dust (sorry, Mo), but I've got a bad feeling they might.

I've got to admit I also found Diamond Dust quite average, much like the album in general if I'm totally honest. I know we've talked about this before but for an album that we waited 7 years for and which was cherry picked from over 100 tracks (allegedly), the final product was sub-standard. I've not really found myself going back for repeat listens like I have the new UNKLE album for example.

After what you were able to experience live 2 years prior, I am fully in your corner. Too much spaying and neutering over the years seemed to take its toll.

Since we are already on the topic - are there any alternate versions of Trails We Blaze?

What did everybody think to the Tuesday Maybe Remixed release? There's a fair bit of average fare in there as expected but I do like half of the tracks (to varying degrees).

The Guy J remix is one of the highlights of course - I still rate the I:Cube remix as well.

Honourable mention for the Phaeleh remix. Definitely an improvement on the original which imo is one of the dullest tracks on TM.

The Luttrell remix is decent, even though it doesn’t sound anything like the original. I quite like parts of the Amateur Dance remix too.

The debut album of the (sadly now late) Jóhann Jóhannsson, Englabörn & Variations, has been remastered and will be out on March 23. It also includes remixes by himself, A Winged Victory for the Sullen, Alex Somers and more

My problem with that "Album" is that except for one or two remixes everything else was already released last year.
